Membership Lounges (Domestic Travel)
Airline members have access to several premium lounges, all of which are suitable for domestic and international travellers.
Virgin Australia Lounge
In Terminal 3, located on the mezzanine floor, you can find the Virgin Australia Lounge. You can enjoy many luxuries in this lounge, including meals, beverages both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, and a variety of food and other beverages. For people travelling on business flights, there are a number of workstations to sit and relax, as well as free Wi-Fi. If you are inconvenienced by a dead phone, there are mobile charging stations dotted around the lounge.
Sit back and relax as you browse the large collection of magazines and newspapers available in this lounge. If you want to escape the busy terminal for a more relaxed and laid back atmosphere, there is a TV lounge, which is also a great way to keep children and teenagers entertained during the wait for your flight.
This lounge is accessible to Virgin Australia Airways ticket holders and Virgin Australia Airline members. Pay at the door is accepted at a premium rate.
Qantas Club Lounge
Got kids travelling with you? The Terminal 1 Qantas Club Lounge features a family room to keep all members of the family entertained as you await your flight. Dine in style on the many meals available in this lounge, and a variety of non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages to wash it down. For a shorter stay, Qantas lounge offers many hot and cold snacks and beverages to satisfy any hunger pangs you may experience. Stay well connected with the work stations, telephones with free calls and speedy Wi-Fi, ideal for those travelling on business flights or who simply want to kick back and relax before they fly. Access to this lounge is available for Qantas members.
REX (Regional Express) Lounge
Additionally, the REX (Regional Express) Lounge in Terminal 4 offers the same luxury and comforts, but is more accessible to economy ticket holders. For particularly hot summer days, this lounge has air conditioning to keep you as comfortable as possible during your stay. There is a broad range of snacks and other light food options available. Unfortunately, this lounge does not include more filling meals you’d normally find in other airport lounges. Pour yourself a cup of tea, coffee or hot chocolate, or enjoy a refreshingly cold beverage to keep you going.
Terminal 2 Membership Lounges (International Travel)
If you’re about to board a long-haul flight to international destinations, expect to have access to many premium membership lounges while you await boarding. These include the Singapore Airlines SilverKris Lounge, situated in Terminal 2, where you can enjoy a variety of hot and cold beverages and meals to keep you full and quench your thirst. There are restrooms with wheelchair access to cater to all passengers, and showers to help you feel refreshed before your flight.
Sit back and relax in front of the TV with a barista-quality coffee or hot beverage in hand and leave behind the stress of the busy airport outside. For a more premium VIP feel, try the Centurion Lounge, previously the American Express Lounge. Think complimentary Wi-Fi, high-quality food and beverage menus and
entertainment in varying forms. This lounge is only accessible to American Express card holders.
Air New Zealand and Emirates lounges
In Terminal 2, you’ll also find the Air New Zealand and Emirates lounges. These lounges are equipped with everything you need to make your pre- flight experience as comfortable as possible. Emirates is known for the premium and high-quality feel it brings to its aircrafts and lounges. There truly is no greater luxury than relaxing in one of these membership lounges. In order to gain access, think about acquiring a membership pass or card if you find yourself
frequently flying with one of the aforementioned airlines.
Terminal 2 Open-Access Lounges
