No, there are no transfers required for the Mid Stay Car Parks. As the Mid Stay 2 car park is only a 5 minute walk away, you can get to and from the airport terminal quickly and efficiently in time for your flight. 

What is the Drop-Off Procedure 

Parking at Mid-Stay 2 car park is extremely straightforward– after booking online, you can drive up to the barriers and your number plate will be automatically recognised. From here, simply enter the car park and find a parking space, then proceed to the terminal. The car park does allow same day drive-in parking, but bear in mind that a parking space is not guaranteed if you choose this method of booking.

What is the Pick-Up Procedure? 

Similar to the drop-off procedure, once you arrive back at the East Midlands Airport, head to the Mid-Stay 2 car park and drive up to the exit barrier. From here, your number plate will once again be automatically recognised, and you can exit the car park and continue your journey. If you require disabled parking, please ensure that your blue badge is clearly visible– disabled parking is available, but is first-come-first-served, so it may be more helpful to book in advance.

Head down the A52 road and merge onto Raynesway Road/A6. Continue onto the Derby Southern Bypass onto the A453 and follow signs to East Midlands Mid-Stay car parks. The journey takes approximately 25 minutes. 

Arriving from Nottingham: 

Follow signs to East Midlands Airport from central Nottingham. Head onto the A453/Remembrance Way road. Continue on the A453 and follow signs to the East Midlands Mid-Stay car parking complex.
