London City Airport’s main terminal car park offers excellent rates and value on parking, and is mere steps away from the main terminal building, making it very convenient and hassle-free. Simply park up and be at your gate within minutes.

London City main car park is around a 5 minute walk from the terminal, and is most ideal for passengers who are planning to be away for longer periods of time. There are a number of car parks at LCY, including a meet & greet car park and a pick-up and drop-off car park.

No, there are no transfers required to or from the car park as the car park is within a short walking distance from the main terminal building.

It’s advisable to pre-book your car parking at the London City Airport car park, as paying on the day can cost more. Simply drive up to the barriers, and your number plate will be automatically recognised both when entering and exiting the car park. If you are paying on the day, you’ll usually be provided with a ticketed reference number and the registration number of your vehicle– you will then use this ticket to exit the car park at the end of your stay. Try not to stay longer than your allotted time as this can result in extra charges.

Once you arrive back at the airport, you can exit the car park via the barriers. If you have pre-booked, your number plate and booking will automatically be recognised, but if you haven’t, you’ll need to use your ticket to essentially ‘check out’ of the car park. Please note that you can only use a credit/debit card to pay for your parking as cash is not accepted.

London City Airport parking has been awarded with the official Park Mark award, which means it meets all the required security and safety criteria. There are CCTV and gated barriers in operation at the car park to ensure the safety of your vehicle. 

If driving from Westminster/ West London:

From West London, it takes around 50 minutes to drive to London City Airport. Follow the A3211 road to the A1203. Pass Canary Wharf onto Trafalgar Way then the A1020 road towards the A112, which leads on to the airport. 

If driving from Greenwich/East London:

Head down the A102 road onto the A1020, following the signs to City Airport. Stay on North Woolwich Rd and turn onto Hartmann Road, which is opposite the airport.
