No existing park very bad I can't find your parking I lost my money

I have to say this was a significantly poor experience. I do not usually feel the need to complain, but, in this case, it is merited. I booked in my 17 seat Peugeot Boxer minibus. Now this is a large vehicle so I double checked with reservations that this was accepted. It was. Upon arrival I was told that they could not take the bus. I was given directions to Slip End where I was able to leave the bus. During this extended period I had to leave 16 students sat at the airport for longer than was ideal! Upon my return I took the bus to Slip End. This was very overcrowded and frankly dangerous. Twenty people standing including small children with baggage sliding if you see the picture. All seats filled. When I arrived at Slip End, the Red Ticket did not work, and directed me to Reception. There I was told my minibus did not fit there either and I had to wait for another 15 minutes to get it driven from yet another car park. When it arrived, I tried to exit the barrier and that dodn’t work either, forcing me to run back to reception to get the barrier lifted. Then, just after I got through the barrier, I noticed a lovely big windscreen crack - very clearly done whilst the minibus was in the hands of AirTours. I was an hour and a half late returning to the airport to get my students and have returned to school with a damaged minibus. I’m pretty relaxed and tolerant. However I do feel that this experience was not up to reasonable expectations, and therefore I have awarded only one star.

The information sent in advance was clear and easy to follow. Directions were very straightforward and this car park is only 5 minutes from the check in desks. The check in was smooth and efficient with no waiting and the bus driver helped me with my luggage. Coming back the bus was already there waiting and again I was helped with my luggage with my van parked next to where I picked up the keys.

Did the job! The staff we spoke to were really pleasant, helpful and friendly, the gentleman on Sunday who handed the van back seemed quite concerned that we had walked back from Luton Parkway, even though that was by our choice. We had been offered the shuttle, but declined it. We used the facility for parking for London - the train to St Pancras was only a tenner, so it was cheaper and less hassle than parking overnight in London.
